  3. 1 medium onion
  4. Handful Coriander chopped

  6. 1 & 1/2 tsp Ginger garlic paste
  7. 1 & 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  8. 1 tsp Salt or to taste
  9. 1 & 1/2 Red chili powder
  10. 1 tsp Garam masala powder
  11. 1 Bread slice
  12. Oil
  13. 1 chickpea can drained and set aside
  14. 🌻Prepare Biryani:
  15. 1/2 cup oil
  16. 2-3 Black pepper corns
  17. 2-3 Cloves
  18. 1 stick Cinnamon stick
  19. 2-3 Green cardamoms
  20. 2 Black cardamoms
  21. 1 tsp Cumin seeds
  22. 2 medium Onion slices
  23. 2 medium Tomatoes) slices
  24. 1 & 1/2 tsp Ginger garlic paste
  25. 2 tsp Red chili powder or to taste
  26. 1 tsp Coriander powder
  27. 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  28. 1/2 tsp Garam masala powder

  30. 1/2 tsp Nutmeg powder

  33. 2 Tbsp plain Yogurt whisked

  37. 2 cups Rice Boiled with whole spices & salt (drain and spread all boiled rice in big tray cover and set aside)

  1. 🌻Prepare Meatballs: In chopper,add beef mince,onion,coriander,green chilies,ginger garlic paste,cumin powder,salt,red chili powder,whole spice powder,bread slice and chop until well combined. Grease your hands with oil,take a mixture and make 12-15 meat balls/koftya of equal sizes. In frying pan,add oil and fry meat balls when fri set aside.
  2. Prepare Biryani: In pot,add oil and add black pepper corns,cloves,cinnamon stick,green cardamom,black cardamom and cumin seeds,mix well. Add onion and fry until light brown. Add tomatoes and ginger garlic paste and mix well.
  3. Add red chili powder,coriander powder,turmeric powder,whole spice powder,mace powder,nutmeg powder,salt,green chilies and mix well. Add yogurt,mix well and cook on high flame until oil separates.
  4. Add fried meat balls/koftay,chickpea, mint leaves,coriander,green chilies,then top layered with boiled rice,squeeze lemon juice,then layered mint leaves, coriander,green chilies and yellow food color,cover and cook for 15-20 minutes on low flame. Kofta & chickpea biryani is ready.serve with raita and salad. Enjoy !!!
